This post is more procrastination than anything new… I am supposed to be working on a new post, but you know… procrastination seems to win most of the time, so this post is poking a little fun at footnote on posts, much like Randall did here, but it seems that the format of his site has changed over the years…

I am tryng to test nested footnotes!!

This is supposed to be the base level1…

Okay, looks like Bigfootjs doesn’t provide support for multiple nested footnotes… There seems to be an open issue for this dating back to 2016 which doesn’t seem to have gathered any steam.

  2. This should be the second level? Or is it the third? 3. ↩

  3. Now what level is this? The third of the fourth?4 ↩

  4. I guess the bas level would be level zero5. ↩

  5. Which would make this level 4? ↩
